150K Award To Jilted Bride Is Bullshit!

I’m almost at a loss for words on this one. Obviously women and men are jilted every day. With a divorce rate over 50%, I’ve always thought it was noble to walk away beforehand. It makes no sense to stick with it if you’re not 100% WITH IT.
Well, the jury in in RoseMary Shell’s suit against her fiance thought otherwise (video on Breitbart.tv). She was awarded $150K.
Key points:
- She left an $80K/year job and moved, taking a job that pays $30K.
- He left her three days before the wedding.
- He didn’t break up with her face-to-face. I’ve heard he left a note and that he had his best man do it.
- She’s a bitter woman.
I just hope any future suitors have the forethought to Google her before they get serious. This was a bullshit case that could have far reaching implications. At the very least, it should for her.

Typical… Sue, Sue, Sue…
Folks wonder why prices are high, doctors wont take patients, companies destroyed, jobs lost…
They will choke and gag on their dirty money one day, so cheer up.

I would’ve gladly paid $150,000 if I had been graced with the sense to back out of my first marriage! Three days before the marriage would have been the day after the proposal. I remember spending the morning of my wedding thinking, “This is a mistake. This is a mistake. This is a mistake.” Did I back out? Nope. I went through with it, discovered he was a twisted sociopath and left him five months later. The divorce process took 22 months - 11 times longer than I’d known him before we were married. Yeah - I was kind of a genius back then……..

My hubby came home yesterday telling me of this story. I had a hard time believing it. I still have a hard time believing it! People will sue over anything, but it’s the court judges whose intelligence and character I beginning to question.
